Refunds & Cancellation

Effective: 2026-05-01

How billing works

MemClaw subscriptions are billed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment collection, tax, invoicing, and chargebacks on our behalf. Your receipt and invoice will list Paddle as the seller.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from the dashboard. After cancellation you retain access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. No further renewal charges will be made.

Refunds

EU / UK consumers — 14-day cooling-off. If you are a consumer resident in the EU or UK, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase under applicable consumer-protection laws. This right does not apply once you have expressly requested performance of the Service and acknowledged loss of the cooling-off right in the process of subscribing.

Annual plans — first 30 days. If you cancel an annual plan within 30 days of initial purchase, you may request a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the subscription. After 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable except where required by law.

Monthly plans. Monthly plans are non-refundable after the start of the billing period; cancellation stops the next renewal.

Involuntary termination. If Caura terminates your account for violation of the Acceptable Use Policy or for non-payment, no refund will be issued.

To request a refund, email billing@caura.ai from the address on the account, or contact Paddle support directly.

Plan changes

Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated against any remaining period.

Downgrades take effect at the next renewal, to avoid mid-period service disruption.

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. For annual plans, we send a renewal reminder by email approximately 7 days before the renewal date. You can disable auto-renewal at any time from the dashboard.

Disputes and chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact billing@caura.ai first so we can investigate. Disputed charges also fall under Paddle's chargeback process as a Merchant of Record.

Tax

Paddle calculates and collects sales tax, VAT, or GST where applicable based on your billing country. Business customers should enter a valid tax-registration number (e.g. EU VAT number) during checkout where applicable.
