Cookie Policy

Effective: 2026-05-01

Marketing site

Our public marketing site at memclaw.net uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads to measure visits and ad-driven conversions. We operate Consent Mode v2 with a region-based default: in the EU 27, UK, Gibraltar and Cyprus, all measurement signals start denied and a cookie banner asks for your decision; in other regions, signals are granted on page load. You can revisit your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.

When measurement is granted, the following first-party cookies are set:

NameProviderPurposeDuration
_gaGoogle Analytics 4Distinguishes unique visitors.2 years
_ga_KLYDXHH521Google Analytics 4Persists session state for the GA4 property.2 years
_gcl_auGoogle AdsConversion-linker cookie used for ad-attribution.90 days

When measurement is denied — or before you accept in EU/UK regions — Google Analytics runs in cookieless / modeled mode: no cookies are stored in your browser, only aggregate, non-identifying pageview pings are sent.

Dashboard — strictly necessary cookies

The MemClaw dashboard uses the items below. These are "strictly necessary" for the Service you have requested and are therefore exempt from the prior-consent requirement under Directive 2002/58/EC ("ePrivacy Directive") Article 5(3).

NameTypePurposeDuration
csrf_tokenFirst-party cookie (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax)Cross-site-request-forgery protection for the dashboard.Session
admin_jwtsessionStorageDashboard-to-API authentication token.Session (cleared when you close the tab)
UI preferenceslocalStorageTheme, sidebar state, pagination preferences.Until cleared by you

Caura Ops widget

Some Caura pages load a first-party operations widget served from ops.caura.ai used by our support team to detect that a signed-in user is viewing a page. The widget reads the session token from sessionStorage and communicates with Caura-operated infrastructure. It does not share data with external advertising networks.

Changes

If we add non-essential cookies or third-party tracking in future, we will update this policy, request prior consent where required, and provide controls to manage your preferences.
